Luxury tableware as a gift: wedding, housewarming or birthday

Tableware is a gift that stays: it moves into the kitchen, gets used daily, and keeps reminding the recipient of the occasion you gave it for. Unlike a gift card it feels personal, and unlike flowers or wine it doesn't run out after a few days.

There's something for every budget: a single Japanese coffee cup from €22, a single plate or bowl from €9-14, up to a complete dinnerware set from €55 (Aura, 4 people) to above €250 (Cosmos or Elite, 8 people).

Wedding

For a wedding, a complete dinnerware set is one of the few gifts a couple will genuinely use for years. Choose an Elite or Cosmos Complete set — a fully set table for 4, 6 or 8 people, matched to the size of their household. Want to share the gift with other guests? Sets can also be extended piece by piece, so several guests can contribute together to one line.

Housewarming

For a housewarming, a slightly smaller gesture fits better: a Daily or Generous set, or a few individual pieces from a neutral line such as Aura, which suits most interiors.

Birthday

For a birthday, it doesn't need to be a complete set. A single special piece — a Japanese coffee cup (€22), or a single plate from the Cosmos or Elite line (€9-14) — is often a more fitting gift than something large the recipient didn't ask for.

Practical: shipping and packaging

You can have an order delivered directly to the recipient's address — handy if you'd rather not forward it yourself. Order before 4pm and the package ships the next working day, with free shipping from €75.

We deliberately keep packaging simple: no extra layer of gift wrap or ribbon, just sturdy, protective packaging. That's a deliberate choice to limit packaging waste, not an option we (yet) offer as standard.

If the gift does arrive damaged: you have a legal 14-day right of withdrawal to return an order. For transport damage, the fastest way to arrange a replacement is to send us a photo of the damaged piece within 7 days.

Can I have an order sent to an address other than my own?
Yes, simply enter the recipient's delivery address at checkout.

Do you offer gift wrapping?
Not yet — we deliberately keep packaging simple to limit packaging waste. We're looking into whether this will be possible in the future.

What if the gift arrives damaged?
Email us within 7 days with a photo of the damaged piece and the box, and we'll arrange a free replacement or full refund.
