  • Thermal shock: avoid extreme temperature swings (cold to hot) to prevent cracking.
  • Cutlery marks: any metal marks on the glaze come off easily with baking soda.

I bought the whole set and this is one of my favorites. The blue part is a more of a glossy glaze and the bottom half is like a spackle glaze. However the whole cup has a crackle glaze like effect so it’s gorgeous.
Like the other cups in the set, it’s sturdy and clearly well made. They are comfortable to use even with hot drinks. The size is ideal for tea or latte. It has easily become one of the most used cups in my cupboard.
I have ordered from this company before and like the plates, they arrived quickly and well packed. I also really appreciate that they are dishwasher safe. All in all, this cup functions like a well made everyday piece that looks and feels extra special.

Wat een mooi kopje. De ivoor-lavendel overgang en het craquelé-effect zijn precies zoals op de foto’s, misschien nog mooier zelfs. Je ziet meteen dat het handwerk is, elk exemplaar net iets anders. Ligt lekker in de hand ook zonder handvat, en gewoon vaatwasser- en magnetronbestendig. Snel geleverd, netjes verpakt. Aanrader voor wie van rustige, Japandi-vibes houdt.
