Vision

The Philosophy

In a world striving for sterile perfection and mass production, Wabi-Sabi Livingware chooses the soulful object. We believe that the objects we touch every day—the cup we drink from, the plate we eat from—are not just utilitarian objects, but welcome respites. A small, tangible pleasure that reminds us of the beauty of the present.

The beauty of the imperfect

We're also realistic: wherever ceramics are used, things sometimes break. Instead of throwing them away, we believe in repair. Using the Japanese Kintsugi technique, we mend breaks with gold-colored details. This way, a damaged object isn't just repaired, but given a second life that's often even more beautiful than the original.

Man and Maker

Our appreciation for the unique isn't limited to clay. We strive for an inclusive world where we recognize talent often overlooked by the regular job market. Drawing on our own experience with neurodiversity, we're building a place where thinking differently is a strength. We work exclusively with producers we know and understand, where sustainability and human connection are the foundation of every import.

A conscious choice

Behind every object lies an intention. When you choose Wabi-Sabi Livingware, you're not choosing a fleeting trend, but a slow way of life. We invite you to embrace the imperfections, feel the texture of the materials, and experience the peace in the small moments. This way, your home becomes a place not just filled with things, but with stories that only grow in value over time.
