The Cosmos collection is a tribute to the wabi-sabi philosophy. Every plate is shaped by hand — not a mould that turns out the exact same piece, but hands giving the clay its form. That is why every rim is slightly different and every surface a little livelier.
Robust stoneware, a reactive glaze that turns out differently on every piece, and an irregularity that is not a flaw but the intention. I chose this line because it does what most sets don't: it stays interesting.
Why the Cosmos line?
- Hand-shaped stoneware: Hard-wearing material with a reactive decoration that adds depth and character.
- Wabi-sabi design: Irregular contours that emphasise the hand-shaped character.
- Efficiently stackable: Despite the natural shapes, designed to stack stably in your kitchen cupboard.
What's in the set?
- Morning: per person a breakfast plate, a dessert plate and a bowl.
- Daily: the Morning set plus a dinner plate per person.
- Complete: the Daily set plus a soup plate per person.

Frequently asked questions +
Arrived broken?
Email us within 7 days with a photo and we'll arrange a replacement. Our address: business@wabi-sabilivingware.nl.
Is it dishwasher and microwave safe?
Yes, both. Do avoid extreme temperature swings, though — a cold plate straight into a hot oven — to prevent hairline cracks in the glaze.
When will it ship?
Shipped from Ede within 1 to 2 working days.
Does my set differ from the photo?
Probably a little, yes. This line is hand-formed, so differences in shape, glaze thickness and colour depth are part of it. That's not a flaw — that's why you're buying it.
Can I reorder later?
Yes. You'll find single pieces under Single pieces. If something is temporarily out of stock, sign up for a notification via the button on the product page — you'll be notified automatically as soon as it's back.
Care & use +
Dishwasher & microwave
Fully suitable for daily use in the dishwasher and microwave.
Preserving the quality
- Thermal shock: avoid extreme temperature swings (cold to hot) to prevent cracking.
- Cutlery marks: any metal marks on the glaze come off easily with baking soda.
- Drying: dry the pieces well after washing and store them somewhere ventilated.
